The Energy Act of 2020 charged the Secretary of Energy with establishing and carrying out a program to support the development of HALEU for civilian domestic research, development, demonstration, and commercial use. To achieve this goal, the DOE established the HALEU Availability Program, which issued its first round of conditional commitments on April 9, 2025, to only five U.S. nuclear developers.
CINC Industries designs, manufactures and sells the Centrifugal Contactors which will be used in meeting the near-term fuel needs of the U.S.
